Jenny Fawson joined us on 1st February as our new Chief Executive. Jenny has a passion for the voluntary sector, having trained first as a fundraiser and then moving into management. She has recently returned from 18 months of voluntary work in the Nigerian education sector, where she supported an education department to grow and develop, and built capacity in fundraising at community level for schools and young people. Before that she was Joint CEO of Suzy Lamplugh Trust, the UK’s national personal safety charity based in London. Jenny says “I am thrilled to be joining such a positive and passionate organisation in such a thriving and dedicated field. Our members are doing some fantastic work, as is the wider children and young people’s sector across the county, and I look forward to working with them so that together we can reach more young people in a meaningful way.”
