The Pro-Action First Step Quality Mark is an assurance scheme for working with young people.  It is accredited by Clubs For Young People and Pro-Action.  The First Steps Quality Mark aims to set a level of quality that can be achieved by all Pro-Action members to demonstrate competence in youth work.
 

The First Steps Quality mark allows:
 Pro-Action members to celebrate good practice
 Identify gaps in provision
 Identify opportunities for development
 It can also aid funding bids by the achievement of national recognised mark of quality youth provision.

The process allows members to be pro-active in evidencing their quality through photographs, collages, statements, shorts films and more. 

The process also benefits of an in house action plan standardised at a national level and public commitment to quality.   

Once completed, there is the opportunity to progress onto the Bronze, Silver & Gold National Certificate.
