Pro-Action works in partnership with The Engineering Development Trust (EDT), a charity established over 30 years ago that inspires and excites young people in STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Maths) careers in readiness for the fourth Industrial Revolution. EDT has recently launched its summer 2019 Inspire and Headstart programmes for students in years 11 and 12 (ages 16 and 17), respectively, and invites applications from young people associated with Pro-Action.

Hertfordshire Mind Network are proud to be involved in the Herts Youth Futures project, which provides one-to-one mentoring support for individuals facing barriers to employment. This BBO (Building Better Opportunities) project is in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council and is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund whom have invested £1.1 million to aid young people into supported and sustained work and education.

HIT's Story Box in Hemel Hempstead  

Our week long workshop in Hemel Hempstead is all about creativity, stories and performance! Children will have the opportunity to explore their favourite books and bring their most loved characters to life through theatre! The week will be directed by the brilliant Angie Wallis, who has appeared in films including Vera Drake and The World's End. EveryBody Dance Now!

A new inclusive dance class in Watford for children  with additional needs starting 8 January 2018 Mondays 5.45 - 6.45 (10 week course) 

Dance is a wonderful way to help children express themselves, build strength, improve mobility and increase confidence. EveryBody Dance Now! will be lead by a Wheelchair Dance Sport Association trained instructor and we welcome children of all abilities. Our studios are accessible with disabled toilets, ramp entrance and a large car park.  

The course is part-funded by Watford Borough Council so the 10-week course only costs £50. If this is a barrier to your child attending please contact Amy confidentially on and we'll do our best to help.
