Hertfordshire Sustainable Funding Fair

Jul 11, 2018

Herts Sustainable Funding

Hertfordshire Community Foundation are working with their Herts Community Solutions partners and Connect Hertfordshire to once again run this popular event.

When: 14 September 2018
Where: University of Hertfordshire, de Havilland campus

They aim to attract 250-300 attendees from voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises and sports clubs in the county.

Thanks again to the involvement of Herts Sports Partnership who are based at the University of Hertfordshire, they will have the use of some excellent facilities at the de Havilland campus in Hatfield. There will be an exhibition space, a lecture theatre and a variety of breakout rooms. This will enable a programme of workshops and advice sessions to be run during the morning.

Hertfordshire Community Foundation and HCF Training and Development will have stands and be running workshops at this event. Other funders who have accepted invitations to participate include Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery, Big Society Capital, Groundwork, Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation, Funding 4 Sport, Easy Fundraising and Sporting Capital.

The theme of this year’s Fair is Health and Wellbeing, and we are delighted that Jim McManus, Director of Public Health at Hertfordshire County Council will be the keynote speaker for the plenary session at the start of the day.

Please save the date and look out for invitations to register which will be issued soon.
